Course summary

You will explore all aspects of literature in English from early modern to postmodern, benefiting from our expertise in a wide range of areas, including American, Irish & postcolonial literatures, critical theory, creative writing, and the relationship between literature and other arts, media & science. French involves the study of a key European and international language as well as the cultures it has influenced across the world. Why study this course at the University of Glasgow? As part of your French degree you can choose to focus on a whole range of topics including French comics, French song, travel writing, medieval France and contemporary French history.
