Course summary

Explore Health Psychology at a global top 100* university. Human behaviour is a leading cause of physical illness world-wide. This BPS-accredited programme teaches you how psychology can be applied to improve wellbeing and prevent and manage long-term conditions. You'll be taught by expert lecturers in developing and testing interventions and theory, who also have strong links to local community and clinical settings. You'll enhance your learning with hands-on small group skills workshops and through a choice of optional modules to shape your course to your interests. Assessment method

You'll be assessed through a behaviour change diary and essay, mini-systematic review, research proposal, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and examinations.

International applicants

IELTS 7.0 overall, with minimum of 6.5 in all components.

Entry requirements

Upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in psychology, including statistics modules; other degrees considered in conjunction with an approved BPS conversion course. Experience of working in a mental health setting is desirable.
