York Law School has a wide range of research expertise, spanning a diverse array of topics. We apply a variety of research methods, from doctrinal to philosophical, empirical, historical and critical. The MA Law (by research) programme lets you undertake in-depth and individually supervised research on a topic of your choosing. It allows you to develop your own format of study that will best enable you to fulfil your individual aims. The programme is available in all fields of expertise at York Law School, and with supervised research on your chosen topic, subject to supervisory availability.
