Year 1 All our Business Management degrees share the same first year core modules, giving you a broad understanding of business principles in areas such as economics, marketing, law, HR and organisational behaviour. You’ll explore topics such as how economic and political factors impact businesses, learn the essentials of branding and strategy and understand how people and organisations work together. Core modules Marketing Principles Financial Knowledge and Skills for Business Managing Systems and Operations Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management Business Economics Enterprise Project and Skills Year 2 You will build on the knowledge you gained in your first year, developing expertise in business analysis, digital transformation and financial theory. You can also tailor your studies through option modules in areas such as financial planning, trade and analytics. Core modules Business and Corporate Law International Business Analysis Managing Digital Transformation Understanding Finance Theory and Practice Options* Personal Financial Planning Economic Theory and Applications Money, Exchange Rates and Trade Applied Business Analytics Financial Modelling and Dealing Optional Placement Year You can gain valuable industry experience and earn money on an optional placement year, returning to your final year with confidence, hands-on experience and contacts. Final year In your final year, you will have the opportunity to develop a specialism with different option modules. You will also get hands-on with a consultancy or business project to enhance your problem-solving and project management skills.
