Course Information Are you passionate about health, fitness, and performance? Our Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Sport, Exercise & Health Sciences provides the scientific knowledge, practical skills, and industry insight you need to succeed in the fast-growing health and fitness sector. This two-year programme blends classroom learning with real-world experience, ensuring you graduate with both theoretical understanding and hands-on expertise. You’ll study key areas such as biomechanics, physiology, psychology, and health promotion, while developing professional skills through work-based learning and industry-focused projects. As part of the course, you’ll complete a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, giving you the opportunity to gain paid work in gyms and fitness centres while you study.
