Course summary
Our BSc Bioveterinary Sciences with Placement Year is a four-year course that aims to equip you with the latest skills for a range of careers in veterinary science, as well as in STEM and non-STEM industries. The BSc Bioveterinary Sciences course is a unique blend of the biological sciences relating to animals, the way they work, their health, their diseases and their relationships with humans. In addition to the three-year BSc Bioveterinary Sciences course, you will spend a placement year working in industry, the charity sector, a government department or a research institute, to develop work place skills and industry expertise. This programme has received Advanced Accreditation from the Royal Society of Biology following an independent and rigorous assessment. Accredited degree programmes contain a solid academic foundation in biological knowledge and key skills, and prepare graduates to address the needs of employers.
