Building on your knowledge from a relevant undergraduate degree, our MSc in Business and Management provides the specialist skills you need to succeed. This includes things like financial strategy, how to manage people and how to make smart business decisions. A range of optional modules mean you can choose topics that match your interests and career plans – from venture capital to marketing and corporate strategy. You’ll also be able to explore contemporary issues that businesses face, such as climate change and gender equality. Throughout the course, you’ll learn practical skills and access resources that help you stand out with top employers, including:

- Flexible final project – choose between a dissertation and a business project. With the business project, you’ll be able to put theory into practice by collaborating in groups with an industry partner

Modules
Across the autumn and spring semesters, you will take 120 credits of taught modules. Each module typically consists of 10 two to three hour sessions. You will complete a 60-credit dissertation over the summer, and will be allocated an appropriate dissertation supervisor who will oversee your progress.

Main assessment methods include closed-book exam, individual essay, group report, group presentation and dissertation.

2:1 (or international equivalent) in business studies, economics or management You are required to submit a personal statement and a list of modules being studied in the final year (for applicants who have not yet completed their undergraduate degree). IELTS: 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in each element).
