Gain an in-depth understanding of economics, econometrics and data science on our interdisciplinary MSc Economics with Data Science. This programme is suited to both professionals and recent undergraduates, following a related degree such as economics, computer science, physics, maths, or engineering, with exposure to quantitative methods and/or programming. Entry requirements
You will typically need an upper second-class honours degree or an international equivalent in a quantitative subject (whether as a single, joint or combined honours degree) such as: Accounting and Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, International Economics and Trade, Mathematics, Physics, Commerce (with specialism in Accounting/Finance/Economics). OR If your degree is not listed above, you need a 2:1 or equivalent in at least three different quantitative units from the Maths qualification requirements list below. OR A-level Mathematics with grade A if no mathematics or quantitative units in your degree. We will consider your application if your interim grades are currently slightly lower than the programme's entry requirements and may make you an aspirational offer. This offer would be at the standard level, so you would need to achieve the standard entry requirements by the end of your degree. Specific module requirements would still apply. We will also consider your application if your final overall achieved grade is slightly lower than the programme's entry requirement. If your achieved grade is lower than our entry requirements, your application may be more likely to receive an offer if you have additional relevant work experience or qualifications. If you have at least one of the following, please include your CV (curriculum vitae / résumé) when you apply, showing: - Evidence of significant (minimum of 5 years) relevant work experience such as data analysis, economics modelling, data informed policymaking. - A relevant postgraduate qualification.
