Our BSc Mathematics with Study in Continental Europe will build on your passion for mathematics, challenge you across a range of subject areas and give you the exciting opportunity to study abroad. Spend a year at one of our university partners in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal or Spain, under the Erasmus scheme. Learn mathematics from our world-leading experts, develop critical and independent thinking in small group tutorials and we will help you become a successful mathematician. With analytical and problem-solving skills you will stand out in a highly competitive job market with recent graduates securing positions in positions in finance, management, computing and many other sectors including teaching and healthcare. Our Mathematics with Study in Continental Europe BSc programme will help you learn to apply analytical, statistical and computational skills to formulate and tackle problems. We will support you to think logically, independently and imaginatively, equipping you to make the most of the opportunities ahead. Select one of our partner universities in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal or Spain, under the EU’s Erasmus scheme and you will spend your third year studying mathematics overseas, also deepening your language skills. Your ability to speak fluently in a foreign language about highly technical subjects will be highly valued by employers. In your fourth year, you will return to Birmingham and have a broad range of modules to choose from.
