Course summary

This course allow student to combine study with employment. Students are most likely to be in paid or voluntary employment in a welfare, educational, advice or care setting in roles such as educational welfare, social care, assistant practitioners, family support work, support workers, school behaviour support, employment support, benefits advice, housing support work and community development work. This programme is not open to students requiring a Student visa to study in the UK. Graduates are likely to have increased job satisfaction and better career prospects. This course offers a new route into and through higher education. On completion of the course graduates can progress to an appropriate Progression Route, such as the BA (Hons) Applied Care Practice (Progression Route) degree at University of Suffolk. This 9 month top-up is available in 4 pathways: Early Years; Children & Young People; Adult or Mental Health Support.
