Enhance your practice at a global top 100* university. As a University of Southampton student with a PG Dip in Nursing, you can to return to ‘top-up’ the diploma to an MSc. The Master of Science Top-up Award aims to enhance your knowledge base and skills to become a critically aware practitioner able to appraise and, if necessary, challenge practice. You'll be enabled to effectively use a philosophy of care that is based on evidence, to develop and lead service provision that meets the needs of a 21st century health and social care service. You'll graduate primed to take the next step in your career. This is a part time programme that commences each September. You’ll need to: have passed your PG Diploma at the University of Southampton register for this master’s within 3 years of completing your PG Diploma in Nursing, or within 4 year of completing your Public Health Practice: Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN)
