Be part of the future of nursing in a critical role where you'll provide compassionate and evidence-based care to your patients. Adult nursing is a dynamic, diverse and evolving profession. Our course will support you to make a positive contribution to the wellbeing of those in your care. 50% of your course will be spent in a variety of placements in both acute and community settings to support your learning and gain insight into the positive impact nurses make to individuals, families and communities. On successful completion of the course you will be awarded a BSc(Hons) Nursing (Adult) and you'll be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and gain your first job as a registered nurse. These simulation suites allow you to practise hands-on skills in a fully-equipped, realistic hospital environment. Location This course is runs at our Canterbury and Medway Campuses in Kent. Please note: This course is subject to approval by the NMC. Canterbury** Canterbury is just 50 miles south-east of London and less than an hour by high-speed train from St Pancras. Located on a UNESCO World Heritage Site the campus offers state-of-the-art buildings, right in the centre of a vibrant and world-famous cathedral city. You’ll benefit from a campus with excellent learning and teaching resources, music venues, a superb sports centre, a well-stocked bookshop and plenty of coffee bars and places to eat. A short walk away is Augustine House our award-winning library and home to a vast range of learning resources and student support teams. Medway Our Medway Campus is located near to The Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent. Rochester is also close by with its beautiful cathedral and buzzing high street. The campus has a unique atmosphere, with its long-standing reputation for excellence in Health and Social Care, Education and the Early Years. Nearby is a student-friendly quarter with a multiplex cinema, a shopping centre and a fully equipped sports centre. The campus is part of Universities at Medway, which is made up of three universities: CCCU, the University of Kent and the University of Greenwich, so you’ll be part of a vibrant student campus with plenty of facilities.
