Are you passionate about film production and storytelling? From screenwriting to film theory, this (BA Hons) Digital Film Production degree offers a practical understanding of the entire film production spectrum and focuses on building industry connections. Through hands-on training and access to cutting-edge technologies, this course will give you the skills and experience to produce innovative film shorts, features, commercials and documentaries. Led by production and broadcast experts with extensive industry experience, the course offers a blend of practice and theory-based learning, including lectures, workshops, seminars and self-directed study. Throughout the course, you will focus on developing craft skills and industry awareness, with production projects requiring collaboration, with students beyond this course, and enhancing contextual understanding. In the final year, you will be encouraged to continue collaborating, but in a self-directed mode, deploying your practice through a Final Major Project aligned with your career aspirations. Assessment method
You will be continually assessed throughout the course using a variety of methods including video submissions, project blogs,peer assessment, presentations, essays and reports. Each module has a Formative and a Summative assessment point, where feedback and advice are provided to develop and complete projects and a final grade is awarded.
