Foundation Year If you do not meet the requirements for direct entry onto a degree programme, our foundation year can provide an alternative route into your degree. The course provides preparation for the academic skills required for degree level study, delivering the opportunity to develop the questioning and analytical skills required for progression into your chosen programme. Upon meeting the progression criteria and successfully completing the foundation year, you will automatically progress into your Keele undergraduate degree with the confidence that you have the skills, and knowledge needed to successfully complete your course. International Students For International Students, Foundation Years are delivered through our dedicated on-campus provider, Keele University International College. Applications for International Foundation Years are also handled by KUIC; please do not apply via UCAS as the University will not be able to process your application and you may still be charged the UCAS application fee. On this programme you will discover how economics and finance can answer some of the central questions that need to be made by organisations and households. Our curriculum has been designed to enhance your knowledge of two fascinating complementary subjects and to give you the right package of key skills to follow your career goals. Your studies will cover the core principles of economics and you will develop in-depth understanding of the different economic decisions that are made by families, companies, and the government. Finance modules concentrate on business behaviour, strategy and performance, particularly of financial organisations, and draw from other areas of business including accounting and business law.
