Course summary
Computing is an integral part of our lives, both at home and in business. This course enables you to gain knowledge and understanding of real world computing developments, and helps you to develop the necessary practical skills through work related learning. The course explores application programming, ethical hacking practices, the creation of e-commerce platforms and data science practices. Throughout the course you will be encouraged to develop your employability skills through replicating real world practices with industry standard tools. You will also complete an industry-related project or dissertation.

Assessment method
In order to meet all of the learning outcomes for each module delivered you will be assessed via summative assessments that may be in the form of, but not limited to, report writing, practical work, examinations, case studies, presentations, research and project work.
