Course summary
Gain a solid grounding in all areas in business, specialising in the skills and knowledge needed for a career in finance. Year 1 Your first year covers the fundamentals of finance, accounting and economics. You’ll also further develop your mathematical skills and explore business, society and law. Year 2 Continue to specialise in areas of finance, including vital skills like programming. Final year In your final year, specialist optional units will equip you with the knowledge to pursue careers in various parts of the finance industry. You’ll also do the Individual Project. This is a chance to apply what you’ve learned on the course to a practical or academic finance-related research question.
