Energy systems research can inform and help shape tomorrow's difficult energy decisions in decarbonising society. The MScR Energy Systems programme enables you to complete a research degree as part of the Institute for Energy Systems (IES), a multidisciplinary research institute delivering world-leading research in low-carbon energy systems, technology and policy. The Institute includes academic staff members with expertise in a variety of areas, including:

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.
