Overview Deploy machine learning techniques and grapple with the ethics of artificial intelligence on this Master’s degree. You’ll learn about the capabilities of AI frameworks,the growth of technological innovations in the field, and their application to real-world problems in engineering, healthcare, agriculture and beyond. If you're interested in entering a new career in artificial intelligence and machine learning, you'll be able to build on your existing skills and studies through this conversion MSc course. It's designed to help you retrain, learn new skills or return to work after a career break. You can enter this course with basic or advanced computing skills, relevant industry experience, or a degree that shows your numerate background (such as Mathematics, Business Information Systems, Psychology or Applied Geography). Whatever your background, you can use this programme to convert your learning in computing, or in a relevant non-STEM subject, into an AI and machine learning qualification. You’ll develop your interest in interactions between humans and algorithms, using data and logic to predict behaviour, solve problems and contribute to further applications of artificial intelligence in the world. You’ll graduate with an understanding of how machine learning underpins modern life, its technical and ethical foundations, and practical experience in using relevant tools to apply AI methods in any industry you enter.
