Overview Want to transform your career by building the skills and creative confidence to make your own digital media? And to gain insight into how digital media is transforming contemporary global culture and communication? If so, MA Digital Media and Global Communication is the course for you. This course uniquely combines three of UEA's areas of strength. Firstly, you'll gain a cutting-edge understanding of digital media, social media, communication technologies, and their impact on global audiences. Secondly, you'll channel that understanding into creating your own digital media content, mastering the skills needed to make your creative vision a reality. Thirdly, you'll learn how to facilitate communication in international business and management, including in the global media industries. You'll develop a host of communication skills covering everything from content creation in digital media to the ability to ensure positive and fruitful communication in professional, commercial and personal settings. You'll even have the option to take modules from Norwich Business School. UEA is a globally recognised and pioneering centre for nurturing creativity, and CreativeUEA is one of its flagship themes. This means you'll have the support of renowned tutors, including industry insiders with decades of experience in writing and creating media. Norwich and Norfolk's thriving position in the creative sectors means you'll be able to apply for media-oriented internships and placements, for instance to take part in the running of film festivals. You'll have access to all UEA's specialist digital media facilities, supported by a dedicated team of technicians, to work on your own projects or those commissioned by external organisations. You'll graduate from this dynamic Master's programme equipped with the tools and skills necessary for success in a diverse range of careers across the creative industries and beyond, including media and journalism, marketing and PR, digital content creation, corporate roles or government positions.
