In doing so the course will enable you to expand your creative potential and join the world of fashion as an innovator but also with a keen commercial sense. You’ll explore a range of design techniques and processes from print, digital design creation through to fashion illustration, technical garment construction, pattern cutting and garment manufacture. You will examine a range of contextual perspectives on how fashion design is influenced by and influences the creative and wider world. You’ll look at cultural relationships with fashion and examine ethical considerations. Most importantly you will build your practice around your own creative thinking and ideas as we aim to develop your creative flair and design potential, helping you to express ideas clearly and develop them towards new and experimental fashion outcomes.
