Course summary
The Level 4 Higher National Certificate provides a solid grounding in Community Coaching in England, on which students can build, should they decide to continue their studies beyond the Certificate stage. On successful completion of the Level 4 Higher National Certificate, you may consider joining the coaching work force in the local community, with schools, private business, or progress to a Level 5 programme such as the Higher National Diploma. Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Community Coaching for England offers:

- the latest coaching practices and applications of fundamentals skills and knowledge to enhance athletes/participants performance;

Interview
All applicants are required to attend an interview and will be notified of the date and time via email, a text reminder is also sent the day before the interview. Applicants applying from outside the West Midlands alternative interview arrangements can be made for you, but we strongly encourage all prospective applicants come along to view Solihull College and University Centre’s facilities and meet the teaching teams. As part of your interview and possibly your offer you will be required to provide your original certificates, including GCSE’s or equivalents.
Institutions Own Test (IOT)
Applicants who do not meet the standard entry criteria but have appropriate industry and life experiences will have their prior learning and skills taken into account and maybe required to complete an Aptitude assessment (this will be advised at interview).
English language requirements
Students who are non-native English speakers, or who have not studied the final two years of school in English, but can demonstrate capability in English at a standard commensurate to IELTS 5.5 , with a minimum of 5.5 being awarded on individual sections.
