Course summary

The Internet of Things (IoT) explores the internetworking ever more capable electronic and computing systems that we use in our daily lives, ranging from cars and mobile telephones to washing machines and aeroplanes. This major growth area has a large and increasing industry demand for engineers and computer scientists who possess in-depth expertise in interconnected systems, and our course equips you with the advanced knowledge and skills to work in all aspects of this area. You develop practical skills in the design, programming and interfacing of embedded processors, as well as an understanding of current applications, technological trends and their potential impact on systems of the future. We have an international reputation for research in this field, so maintain well equipped laboratories through our links with industrial partners. This enables us to offer you instruction in a wide range of topics including:
