If you have a numerical background and an interest in developing in depth specialist knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of corporate financial management, this is the course for you. Our Master’s in Corporate Financial Management offers an excellent foundation for your finance career. We want to ensure that our courses give you the best possible chance of achieving your career ambitions, which is why we have built useful projects and strategies into the programme. You will apply theoretical concepts and finance models to real world case studies, covering topics such as governance, social responsibility, risk management, banking regulation, corporate reporting, finance, and performance management. We are focused on your learning experience, and this course is taught by lecturers with extensive industry experience, in workshop style classes that encourage greater interaction. As well as gaining a formal qualification, you will also develop your professional skills and improve your future employability. MSc Corporate Financial Management with Professional Practice This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Corporate Financial Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students. Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path. Assessment method

Assessments are designed to meet the programme and module learning outcomes both academically and professionally and are both formative and summative. The formative assessments include the preparation and feedback from seminars, workshops, tests and presentations. Summative assessments that contribute to the grade may include written assignment, group work/studies, project and possibly exams.

2:2 or above from a UK Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification(s) English language requirements for applicants whose first language is not English - An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
