The BA Sports Journalism course at the University of South Wales helps you turn your passion for sport into a career, with hands-on newsroom experience, real industry opportunities, and the skills to tell powerful, ethical stories that matter in today’s fast-moving media world. The course is built around strong industry partnerships with organisations including BBC Wales, Sky Sports News, ITV Wales, Media Wales, the Football Association of Wales, and the Welsh Rugby Union. You’ll benefit from placement opportunities, live briefs, and real press box access, working directly with professional and community clubs while building bylines, practical experience, and valuable industry contacts.
