Course summary

"Explore Environmental Consultancy at a global top 100* university. The world needs experts who can advise large organisations on environmental challenges and opportunities. This master’s degree will give you in-depth knowledge of a variety of topics, including sustainability and environmental law. You’ll graduate with practical skills that will boost your job prospects in a growing field and will:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the functioning and management of the environment
  • Develop specialist knowledge in a chosen area of environmental science

Assessment method

Depending on the modules you choose, we’ll assess you through a combination of essays, reports, policy briefs, impact statements, environmental management (iso14001) audits, literature reviews, journal articles, presentations, practical and written examinations.


How to apply

International applicants

English language requirements: band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components

Entry requirements

Upper Second Class Honours degree in a science related subject from an approved University. IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component. Applications are assessed on an individual basis and we encourage candidates with alternative qualifications plus relevant experience in the environmental sector to apply.
