Course summary
The course will learn about banking regulations across the globe and how economic factors such as interest rates can affect investment, and explore theories and current industry business practice from the UK and further afield. Modules
Core modules: Economics for banking and investment; money and banking industry framework; investment securities and capital budgeting analysis; international banking regulations and policies; applied econometrics (time series); financial planning and investment funding for decision making; dissertation or live commercial project.
Entry requirements
Applicants should either have at least a 2nd Class Honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
