Course summary

This diploma of higher education is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ): the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has approved it as meeting occupational standards for the digital sector. We’ve developed it in collaboration with employers and businesses so that you get the specific knowledge and skills required for your career as a network engineer. Designed around professional practice in the industry, this diploma will develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours employers want. You’ll first build a foundation of computing and mathematical knowledge and skills. Then, learn the fundamental technologies and techniques relevant to the role of a network engineer – an in-demand and valued profession. Key features of the course

Modules

This Diploma of Higher Education has two stages, each comprising 120 credits: In Stage 1, you’ll study three 30-credit computing and IT modules and choose one 30-credit mathematics module. In Stage 2, you’ll study four 30-credit modules.
