Course summary

Build upon your existing skills within a highly professional environment, on a course recognised by the International Federation of Landscape Architects and accredited by the Landscape Institute. You’ll actively acquire the practical skills and knowledge that underpin the landscape architecture industry in the 21st century. Studying philosophical aspects of the discipline, exploring influential landscapes and working on live private and public sector briefs will increase your confidence and expertise. With a long-standing reputation and excellent links to industry and professional bodies -plus a strong emphasis on sustainability – this course provides an excellent foundation upon which to build a dynamic career. Study style Through live projects you’ll focus on master-planning, environmental assessment, public consultation and design. You’ll focus on various modules throughout tour course. Design Projects

  • Based in the studio and on site, be introduced to the relationships and processes of landscape architecture projects
  • Professional Practice: Digital Communication 1
  • Develop basic skills in the use of digital media, including AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

  • Find out how to apply plant, construction and ecological knowledge to landscape design projects


Entry requirements

Typical Offers You should hold at least a 2.2 Bachelors degree with honours. Individual basis consideration Applicants will be considered on an individual basis Interview (possible attendance) You will be required to attend an interview. Please refer to our interview guide for further information. IELTS 6.0 EU and international students need IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in writing and in any other band) or equivalent.


English language requirements

International students will need to produce evidence of an acceptable score on an approved English language test such as IELTS. We run pre-sessional English language courses to help you prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
