Course summary
OVERVIEW By integrating management theory with practical application, our Sports Marketing Management degree will equip you with the understanding and skills needed for a career in the sport, recreation, and leisure industries. Throughout the programme, we will encourage you to think creatively, bringing your own ideas to tackle real-life business challenges, from running recruitment campaigns and managing events to developing marketing strategies and conducting market research. The course starts with an introduction to the sports marketing industry, in your first year. In your second year of study, you will build on your foundational skills with a focus on enterprise, data collection and analysis, digital skills and AI and decision making. In your final year of study, you’ll apply your learnings with the core modules ‘End to End Campaign Planning’ and ‘Global Sports Sponsorship and Branding’. The programme intends to reflect the expanding and ever-changing sport marketing landscape. You’ll graduate with the skills to evolve within this dynamic environment, through teaching informed by research. FEATURES AND BENEFITS
