Course summary
Gain technical knowledge and expertise in neurotechnology on this one-year MRes course. You'll develop skills towards an innovative research career in the field and learn how to investigate neural function and treat dysfunction. Neurotechnology uses insights and tools from mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and engineering to help reduce the burden of brain-related illnesses. Through lectures and practical work, you'll explore specialised concepts in neurotechnology research and consider future developments and technologies. You'll also apply techniques and problem-solving skills from the course to an area of interest on an extensive research project.
Entry requirements
2:1 in an engineering discipline, or physical, mathematical, medical or biological science with quantitative skills. We also accept a wide variety of international qualifications.
