MSc Global Development (Politics, Governance and Development Policy) is a forward-thinking course that critically examines the intricate relationships between politics, governance, and development policy in the Global South. It interrogates how political institutions, processes, and power dynamics influence development outcomes, as well as the evolution of governance as a central theme in international development since the 1980s, from discursive paradigms to material interventions. The MSc Global Development (Politics, Governance and Development Policy) provides a unique platform for understanding and addressing the political complexities of development. Entry requirements
We require a UK Honours degree with a First or Upper Second (2.1) classification or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline. When assessing your academic record we take into account the grades you have achieved, your academic references and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.
