Course summary
The course is designed specifically to train, develop, and encourage students to be creative and technical dancers and performers. Students will be fully involved in the rehearsal process and will be given numerous performance opportunities, both internally and externally to the College. Students will develop and hone their choreographic skills, and will be put into real-life scenarios to showcase their work. Students will gain an understanding and experience of the fundamental techniques; contemporary dance, classical ballet and jazz technique.

Proposed modules are: Professional Development, Contemporary Dance Technique, Jazz Dance Technique, Classical Ballet Technique, Devising for Performance, Dance for Musical Theatre, Academic & Research Skills, Contemporary Dance Technique (Part 2), Jazz Dance Technique (Part 2), Classical Ballet Technique (Part 2), Choreography and Creating Dance for Film
