The University of South Wales's MBA Global programme is a two-year MBA that offers you the opportunity to gain up to eight months work experience with companies in the UK and overseas. This MBA Global builds on a strong ethos of helping managers and leaders solve complex business problems while developing professionals who will make a strategic difference within the context of their organisations. Modules

Year One: Global Challenges Explore the main global mega-trends, driving forces and challenges for global business today, and the ways in which they impact on global business management and global value chains. Global Marketing and Communication This module will equip you with the knowledge and the tools required to design globally integrated marketing communications strategies and practices. Organisational Behaviour, HRM and Leadership This module will provide you with a critical and integrated understanding of leadership, organisational behaviour and HRM in a global context. Global Strategy and Decision-Making This module develops your ability to critically understand and evaluate a range of strategic options for effective decision-making consistent in a dynamic and diverse global marketplace. Strategic Financial Management The module provides an overview of the strategic financial management of an organization, from both internal and external stakeholder viewpoints. Operations Management in the Digital Age This module will provide you with a critical understanding of operations management principles, practices, and methodologies and their adaptation in the digital age for enhanced operational and supply chain performance. Personal and Professional Skills Development 1 Based on contemporary professional practice and delivered by industry experts, the workshops provide you with the skills needed to become a resilient, ethical and globally minded professional. Year Two: Capstone Project Working in a student team you will prepare a report and actionable recommendations for a client using the tools, perspectives and theories studied in the course curriculum. Personal and Professional Skills Development 2 This module offers an exciting opportunity to further develop your professional and employability skills via a series of practical skills workshops. Work Placement For your work placement module, you must choose between an external work-placement, an internal consultancy-based placement, an internal entrepreneurship-based placement or an internal online business simulation.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Entry requirements

A minimum UK second-class honours degree or recognised international equivalent qualification. Relevant managerial experience is preferable and all applicants would be considered on an individual basis. International applicants will need to have achieved an overall of IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component/TOEFL 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing or equivalent.


English language requirements

IELTS 6.0 overall with no lower than 5.5 in any one component.
