Course summary
Sussex is the perfect place for this interdisciplinary MA in queer studies. Since 1991, the course has brought together dynamic, engaged students and faculty to develop cutting-edge research on sexuality, drawing on disciplines across the humanities and social sciences. You’ll learn to bring a radical, contemporary, global approach to the study of sexuality. Organised by the School of Media, Arts and Humanities, this MA:
- addresses present-day issues of sexuality within a global context
- provides a firm foundation in queer theory
- allows you to tailor your studies to your interests.

Entry requirements
You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. Your qualification should normally be in a subject relevant to your chosen Masters course. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
