“Please note: from September 2024 you can choose to study this course in either our Bournemouth or London location” This course will provide you with the opportunity to extend your contemporary understanding and application of sport and exercise psychology in a dynamic and supportive environment. This course draws on the research and applied practice strengths of the sport and exercise psychology team, to provide you with a course that supports your career aspirations of working as a sport and exercise psychologist, or further developing your sport and exercise psychology knowledge and expertise. The course will enable you to become an evidence-based practitioner who is an active problem-solver, providing the best psychological solutions to the challenges you encounter. The course has been developed for both individuals who are seeking to become qualified sport and exercise psychologists, and for other graduates (of courses containing psychology/sport and exercise psychology) who are seeking to further extend their knowledge, experience and expertise relating to sport and exercise psychology. As well as delivering a very contemporary curriculum the course offers the opportunity to gain applied experience and see sport and exercise psychology in action through our on-site sport and performance psychology service, as well as in our Physical Activity Referral Centre.

Entry requirements
Normally a first or second-class (2:1 or 2:2) Honours degree or professional experience in the area of study.
