What is mental health nursing? and how to become a mental health nurse? Mental health nurses play an important role in the health and well-being of people with mental health problems and their families and carers. By studying this course in Greenwich, one of London’s leading universities for nursing, you will gain skills to meet the diverse needs of people with mental health problems, including those with complex needs. You will learn accountability for the role you will play in their lives. As a mental health nurse, you’ll be prepared to work in challenging environments across diverse contexts. You will gain practical experience working within the NHS, serving south-east London and Kent, preparing you for professional mental health nursing roles. Our degree in mental health nursing makes you eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and prepares you for the role and responsibilities of a registered mental health nurse (RMN).
