Course summary
This course is designed to develop leadership and management skills for professionals and aspiring leaders to take on roles across a range of industries that harness AI's potential and face its challenges. You'll explore the role of AI technologies and their implications for leadership, management, strategic and organisational practices. Drawing on a contemporary, research-led curriculum and real-world case studies, you'll apply an in-depth understanding of leadership and management theories, alongside critical thinking, problem-solving and practical applications to enable you to thrive in the current world of work.
Modules
Core modules Leadership: Theory and Practice AI in Society The Changing Nature of Work Management, Society and Artificial Intelligence Organisational Security, Surveillance and AI Option modules You will also study two option modules. Examples include: Research Methods Strategy and Innovation in Global Organisations Management and Sustainability Our modules may change to reflect the latest academic thinking and expertise of our staff, and in line with Department/School academic planning.
