PROGRAMME STRUCTURE You will take four core and two optional courses and complete a substantial independent piece of work normally in the form of a dissertation. Core courses Financial Risk Analytics Investments & Portfolio Management Robo-Advising and Blockchain Technology Venture Capital and Private Equity Optional courses Asset Pricing: Theory and Empirics Climate Finance and ESG Investment Corporate Finance and Investment Financial Econometrics Financial Markets, Securities and Derivatives High-frequency Trading Investment, Finance and Asset Pricing Real Estate Economics and Finance Research project Applied Project CAREER PROSPECTS Graduates will typically follow career paths in major financial organisations, including asset management firms, investment banks and financial consulting companies, as well as governmental bodies, the IMF and the World Bank. Graduates have taken up roles as equity traders, financial managers, investment specialists and business intelligence analysts. We have further developed a dedicated careers and employability team who provide 1-2-1 support and advice, group workshops, employer events online and on-campus and networking opportunities throughout the year.
