Mae’r cwrs BSc Rheoli Busnes a’r Gymraeg yn un arloesol a modern sy’n ceisio cyfuno prif elfennau gradd Rheoli Busnes ag astudio’r Gymraeg a diwylliant Cymru ac yn paratoi myfyrwyr ar gyfer cyfleoedd o fewn y farchnad lafur newidiol yng Nghymru. Bwriedir i’r cyfuniad hwn gwella amrywiaeth y cyfleoedd gwaith proffesiynol sydd ar gael i raddedigion wrth roi addysg amlddisgyblaethol ac eang ym meysydd Rheoli Busnes a’r Gymraeg, yn ogystal â chynnig opsiynau hyblyg i fyfyrwyr sydd am ddilyn pynciau gwahanol sy’n datblygu sgiliau iaith. Drwy astudio Rheoli Busnes, byddwch yn meithrin gwybodaeth drylwyr am y prif ddisgyblaethau sy’n berthnasol i reoli a busnes, ynghyd â gwerthfawrogiad o’r gwahanol feysydd swyddogaethol sy’n rhan o sefydliadau busnes. Felly, byddwch yn datblygu craidd cadarn o wybodaeth ym maes Rheoli Busnes a fydd yn eich galluogi i adeiladu ar sylfeini cryf i arbenigo mewn meysydd sy’n ennyn eich diddordeb ac yn adlewyrchu eich dyheadau o ran gyrfa. Drwy astudio’r Gymraeg, byddwch yn datblygu sgiliau lefel uchel yn yr iaith ei hun, yn ogystal â datblygu dealltwriaeth drylwyr o’i lle yn y Gymru gyfoes. Ar ôl y flwyddyn gyntaf, cewch gyfle i ddatblygu arbenigedd drwy ddewis o blith amrywiaeth o fodiwlau dewisol. Mae'r rhain yn ymdrin ag amrywiaeth o feysydd sy’n arbennig o berthnasol i reoli a busnes, gan gynnwys cynllunio ieithyddol a pholisi iaith, cymdeithaseg iaith, sosioieithyddiaeth, technoleg iaith a chyfieithu proffesiynol, yn ogystal â phynciau llenyddol, ieithyddol a diwylliannol. Yn benodol, mae’r cwrs yn rhoi’r cyfle i gael profiad gwaith mewn amgylchedd busnes proffesiynol ac yn galluogi myfyrwyr i roi’r wybodaeth a ddatblygwyd yn ystod y ddwy flynedd gyntaf o wneud y cwrs ar waith mewn lleoliad proffesiynol penodol. Mae nifer o synergeddau rhwng y ddwy agwedd ar y cwrs, fel rôl y Gymraeg yn y gweithle modern, ei lle mewn economi ddigidol a rôl marchnata wrth ei hyrwyddo, i enwi ond ychydig. Mae galw mawr am raddedigion sydd â sgiliau rheoli busnes yn ogystal â sgiliau Cymraeg ar lefel uchel. Caerdydd yw prifddinas gwleidyddiaeth, busnes a chyfryngau Cymru, a bydd y cwrs yn gallu manteisio ar gysylltiadau agos y ddwy Ysgol â'r diwydiant drwy ddefnyddio’r rhaglen lleoliadau gwaith. Yn gyffredinol, mae'r radd Rheoli Busnes a'r Gymraeg (gyda Lleoliad Gwaith Proffesiynol) yn paratoi myfyrwyr ar gyfer amrywiaeth eang o yrfaoedd mewn busnes ac yn datblygu eu gallu i weithio'n ddwyieithog ar lefel uchel yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg. Bydd myfyrwyr sy’n gwneud y cwrs hwn yn gymwys i wneud cais am Ysgoloriaeth Cymhelliant o £500 y flwyddyn gan y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, gan y byddant yn astudio o leiaf 33% (40 o gredydau’r flwyddyn) o bwnc yr ysgoloriaeth drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg. Fel arfer, bydd Ysgoloriaeth Cymhelliant am gyfnod o dair blynedd. Os bydd myfyriwr yn gwneud cwrs pedair blynedd, bydd Ysgoloriaeth Cymhelliant ar gael am dair o'r blynyddoedd hynny.

Qualification requirements

We do not accept Critical Thinking, General Studies, Citizenship Studies, or other similar equivalent subjects. We will accept a combination of BTEC subjects, A-levels, and other qualifications, subject to the course specific grade and subject requirements.


English language requirements

All applicants are expected to have demonstrable English language skills. Most courses ask for GCSE English grade C/4 or equivalent, but some courses ask for GCSE English grade B/6 or equivalent.
