Fashion is an exciting, fast paced and ever evolving industry. Recognising and applying market trends to deliver the right product at the right price and time requires insight, savvy marketing strategies, creativity, and personal drive. The BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding degree will equip you with rounded knowledge of how different aspects of the fashion world interact, with a focus on fashion marketing and branding. This course aims to provide students with an underpinning knowledge and understanding of fashion business and how marketing theories can be applied to organisations operating within a highly digitised and challenging global business environment. You will complement this knowledge by producing practical creative design solutions suited to the fashion industry. The course will deliver a fresh and exciting approach that incorporates interdisciplinary collaboration across the school, mirroring industry practice. That’s why we offer a choice of assessments so you can be confident in putting your best foot forward! • Collaborative interdisciplinary practice: be part of a creative community and learn alongside students from courses such as Film Production, Photography, Game Design, Graphics, Illustration and Digital Marketing Management. Study a shared module with the Business School. • Live industry briefs: apply your learning and enhance your network by engaging with professionals from industry. Work with global brands as well as collaborating with local brands to support the community. • Gain your academic skills badges: The university library offers additional support with skills for learning such as writing, research and time management. Students must have studied a minimum of two years post GCSE level. However, it is expected that some applicants will be mature students with work experience, who wish to further their career development.
