Our Sport Coaching foundation year gives you the essential skills and knowledge to move onto degree-level study. A foundation year helps you to develop the academic skills you will need to study at degree level. This includes note-taking, writing and researching. With smaller classes and lots of support, you'll feel confident when you move to the full degree. You'll also cover current debates and discussions in sport. You'll choose one topic as the basis for a project or portfolio. You'll engage with the content and present your own ideas in a compelling way. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, you can move onto our BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching degree. You can choose to specialise in areas like performance analysis, talent development or health coaching. You can also choose to study abroad or complete a year in industry. You can also choose to progress onto: Football Studies BSc (Hons) Physical Education and Sport BA (Hons) Sport Business Management BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy BSc (Hons) Leadership through Outdoor Adventure BA (Hons) Nutrition BSc (Hons) Why study with us?

Such applications will be reviewed on an individual basis and may require the applicant to be invited for interview.
