Course summary
Combines the theory and practice of engineering with the study of business and resource-based management, entrepreneurial leadership, new business ventures and small-to-medium enterprises. This Engineering Management postgraduate degree has been designed to meet the increasing demand for postgraduates with an understanding of the application of business and management knowledge in the industrial and engineering sectors. If you're looking to work in engineering and technology industries, this is a great fast-track conversion course for graduates from disciplines unrelated to engineering and computing. 90.9% of MSc Engineering Management graduates who entered employment are in a 'High skilled' role 15 months after finishing their degrees. Assessment method
All modules are assessed by coursework, case studies and projects, with the exception of Entrepreneurial Leadership and Project Management module which is assessed by a combination of coursework and examination.
Entry requirements
UK honours degree (minimum 2.1) or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline. Applicants with relevant employment experience or qualifications will also be considered. We specify these minimum entry requirements, but we will assess you individually on your ability to benefit from the course. We sometimes offer places on the basis of non-standard entry qualifications, and industrial or professional experience.International students need IELTS 6.5 (with minimum of 5.5 in reading, listening, speaking and writing).
