What makes the Accounting and Finance diploma special? The course will be delivered by Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet) in Birmingham. Our diploma in accounting and finance aims to build your skills portfolio for a rewarding career in business, in the field of accountancy or finance. You'll actively engage with employers and the leading professional bodies during your time with us, as you position yourself to enter this highly influential sector. With its strong focus on business sustainability, including environmental, social and governance issues, this course will show you're a highly analytical, numerate and commercially driven graduate. You'll also be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills that employers value and have the opportunity to gain 'real world' experience through the optional placement year. On successful completion of the course, you will have the opportunity for a direct entry to year 3 (L6) of the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance at the University of Worcester This will offer you an optional work placement year as well as shorter-term internships opportunities. In addition, if you continue onto the final year at Worcester, on successful completion of the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree programme we expect that you will be eligible for exemptions with all professional bodies, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA and IFA. (This is pending approval from professional bodies.) Key features
