The Pearson BTEC Community Coaching for England HNC Level 4 is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) that has been approved against employer developed standards, also known as occupational standards. Build positive relationships within communities to prepare for roles within the sports, education and social services sectors. Gain a comprehensive understanding of inclusive coaching principles and practices within community settings, including the fundamentals of sport and exercise psychology, anatomy and physiology, and lifestyle coaching. You will develop effective communication and leadership skills to tailor coaching strategies to diverse groups. Assessment method
Assessment is via course work which includes essays, reports, practical observations and presentations. The assessment of Pearson's Higher National qualifications are criterion-referenced and you will provide evidence in the form of assignments, which are assessed against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Qualification requirements
UCAS Tariff - 80 points
In order to study the Community Coaching HNC, you will need to have successfully completed an MMP at Level 3 in a related subject, or Access to Higher Education qualification, or an A Level equivalent (minimum 80 new UCAS points) in related subjects; and GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 and/or minimum IELTS score of 6.
