Course summary
The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Community Coaching for England is the equivalent of the first year of a 3 year Degree. Over the course of the year, you will study 8 units that have been designed to provide the learner with the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto higher level courses, or to take into the workplace. The course is aimed at L3 Sport and Exercise Science students looking to move onto higher levels courses. Other previous qualifications will also be considered from within the Sport sector. This course can also be useful for local employers should they wish to upskill their staff.
Assessment method
The Community Coaching HNC is assessed entirely via internal assessments. This includes a mixture of observations, presentations and coursework.
