This BSc (Hons) Maritime Management (progression route) is a programme that will enable you to develop the essential knowledge and skills and prepare you for the evolving needs of the maritime industry Following the roadmap of the Maritime 2050 Report developed by the Department for Transport (DfT), this programme focuses on the principles and practices of sustainable maritime operations, emphasizing environmental stewardship, safety, and efficient resource management within the maritime industry. Emphasising the importance of maritime trade and connectivity in a globalised world, the programme explores the sustainable practices in the maritime industry to create future leaders. This programme is not open to students requiring a Student visa to study in the UK. The global maritime industry offers many career opportunities in the UK and overseas such as: ship brokering and chartering port management and operations ship management and operations and logistics and supply chain.
