Our foundation year prepares you to study at university. You’ll gain important academic skills, like how to research, write and present your ideas. You'll learn how to work both on your own and as part of a group. You’ll also explore current issues in sport and wellbeing. Engage in discussions and take part in debates, helping you understand the field as a whole. You’ll create a project or portfolio on a topic that interests you. This will demonstrate critical thinking and reflection on your own learning. These skills will help you succeed in university and beyond. Upon successful completion of your foundation year, you can progress on to our Sport Business Management degree. You’ll cover topics like sustainability, globalisation, corporate social responsibility and corruption. You'll link theory and practice, drawing on contemporary research and issues in sports business.
