Our foundation year prepares you to study at degree level. You’ll learn how to research, write and present your ideas. You'll also gain soft skills like groupwork, communication and note-taking. You’ll explore contemporary issues in sport and wellbeing, as you engage in key debates and discussions. You’ll create a project or portfolio on a topic that interests you. You’ll think critically, reflect on your learning, and present your ideas clearly. These skills will help you succeed in university and beyond. Upon successful completion of your foundation year, you can progress on to our Sport and Exercise Science degree. You'll focus on physiology, psychology and biomechanics, giving you an in-depth understanding of movement. Develop your skills in our advanced sports science labs and real-world settings.
