Develop your French, German or Spanish and critical thinking while getting a solid understanding of business management. Develop your language skills while learning about another country's society and culture. As part of your business management studies you'll: learn about managerial decision-making and management techniques explore how to inspire change within organisations and society be challenged to think differently about business Choose topics and gain expertise in areas that interest you most, including: translation and interpreting contemporary society literature and film anthropology history *(Graduate Outcomes 2020/2021) latest, published 2023.

Modules

You will study both business management and your chosen language of French, German or Spanish throughout your degree. Some of the modules you may study include: Business in Society Digital Technologies in Business Introduction to French and Francophone Studies Critical Perspectives on Organisation and Management Discourse Analysis Globalisation: Culture, Language and the Nation State Residence Abroad Portfolio Seeing and Being Seen. Qualification requirements

We welcome applicants with other qualifications eg. European Baccalaureate. You will be expected to attain an A level equivalent standard. The University of Southampton requires all applicants to achieve at least a Grade 4 in English and Mathematics GCSEs (taken in England) or a Grade C in both subjects (where taken in Northern Ireland or Wales). Some degree subjects stipulate specific additional GCSE minimum grades, which will be specified as part of the individual degree programme entry requirements.
