Entry requirements
One year’s university-level study or equivalent of either Hebrew (Modern or Biblical) or Yiddish is required. Incoming MA students’ language skills will be assessed in a short placement test during induction week. Students without prior Hebrew or Yiddish language knowledge will be obliged to take one 30-credit module in Hebrew (Modern or Biblical) or Yiddish as part of the MA programme. English level: Level 2
